1. Legal Information

It is not possible to make changes after the purchase of the service and issuance of the invoice.

The Terms and Conditions of Service of Selio presented here define how the portal service is provided and the rules of participation for individuals or legal entities (Users) who wish to enjoy the same service.

The use of the Selio service is subject to acceptance of these conditions, so any User who does not agree, or does not commit to using Selio in accordance with these rules, will not be able to use the service. Registration and use of Selio require and intend acceptance by the User of the terms present here.

Selio is a free online service that provides users with a website with the aim of facilitating the dissemination of intentions to sell or contract products, services or interpersonal communication through a classified system.

3. Intellectual Property

The advertiser guarantees that their advertisements do not violate any intellectual property rights of third parties, including copyright, industrial property rights, or other types of third-party rights. In the event of legal action by another entity, regarding any advertisement, the advertiser assumes full responsibility and undertakes to ensure that Selio is exempt from liability for any damage or cost arising.

4. Publication of Contact Information

• It is not permitted to publish the telephone number outside the designated field. The number may not appear in the title, text or images of the advertisement.
• It is not permitted to publish the email in the title, text or images of the advertisement.

5. Advertisement Images

• Images that do not represent the actual product are not permitted (e.g., catalogue images).
• Advertisements with repeated or similar images are not permitted.
• Images containing minors are not permitted.
• Images with nudity or services of an erotic nature or prostitution are not permitted.
• Images with watermarks are not permitted, except in the Services category.
• Rotated images (90, 180, 270 degrees) are not permitted.
• Images of people wearing underwear, bikinis or swimsuits are not permitted. Only images of the item photographed without human models are permitted in those categories.

6. Prohibited Content

• It is not permitted to publish advertisements containing discriminatory elements based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or other personal or social circumstances.
• Advertisements that promote prostitution, violence or discrimination, or that encourage sexist, racist or transphobic stereotypes are not permitted.
• Advertisements with offensive language, adult content or pornography are not permitted.
• Advertisements with a fictitious price, such as "1 pound", are not permitted.
• Publication of advertisements promoting competing businesses to selio.com is not permitted.

7. Premium Rate Services

It is prohibited to publish advertisements containing premium rate numbers in the text, title or image.

8. Rules for Job Advertisements

• Job offers for commission-based workers that do not specify gross/net salary are not permitted.
• Job offers without specifying the fixed monthly salary for estate agents are not permitted.
• Estate agents may not publish job offers without having previously submitted their property portfolio.

9. Prohibitions in Specific Categories

• In the Cars category, services such as "we paint your car" or "signs for your vehicle" must be published in the Services category.
• Car purchase advertisements must be published in the Motor Services category.
• Cars over 30 years old will be classified as classic cars.
• In the Fashion category, the sale of used underwear is not permitted.

10. Animal Regulations

• Dogs: Must be at least 8 weeks (2 months) old to be sold. Advertisements must include age, breed, microchip and zoo nucleus number.
• Cats: Must be at least 8 weeks old to be sold. Advertisements must include age, breed, microchip and zoo nucleus number.
• Livestock: The sale of unauthorised wild animals or endangered species is prohibited.
• Protected Species: The sale of protected or invasive species is prohibited, in accordance with local and international regulations (CITES).

11. Prohibition of Illegal Products

The sale of drugs, illegal substances, unauthorised medicines or any other illegal product in accordance with current legislation is not permitted.

12. Books

The sale of books in digital format (PDF) or advertisements with links to digital books is not permitted.

13. Our Responsibility to Users/Sellers

Selio does not control the content of advertisements nor participate in transactions between buyer and seller, with the content of advertisements being the sole responsibility of the User. By placing an advertisement on the site, the User grants Selio all rights to the texts and images used in the advertisement and authorises their use for promotional or advertising purposes.

We are not responsible for indirect economic losses, such as loss of business opportunity or lost profits, nor for consequential damages. Selio does not exclude or limit its liability in a way that is illegal, but is not responsible for implied conditions, obligations or warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

14. Responsibility of Use

By accepting the terms present here, the User undertakes to:

• Provide and maintain truthful, complete and up-to-date data, assuming full responsibility for the accuracy of the advertisement content and the legitimacy of the products or services offered.
• Keep their Selio registration access credentials confidential and not allow their use by third parties.
• Comply with current legislation and adopt only behaviours that do not infringe the current legal order.
• Not adopt abusive, offensive, provocative or fraudulent behaviours in the use of the communication tools provided by Selio.

15. General Rules of Use

It is permitted to publish one advertisement relating to a specific item, property, vehicle or job offer. The same item may not be the subject of more than one advertisement.

An advertisement must relate to a single item, property, vehicle or job vacancy. Advertisements containing word manipulation or attributed to inappropriate categories may be subject to measures including permanent removal.

16. Contracting with Users through Selio

Selio does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of advertisements and the goods or services presented, nor does it guarantee the accuracy of the information presented. Selio also does not guarantee the ability of advertisers and sellers to complete transactions relating to goods or services and the ability of buyers to acquire goods or services.

Selio does not intervene in carrying out any transaction related or not to advertisements published on the portal. It does not act as a transaction mediator and is not responsible for any incident resulting from the lack of legal capacity of Users.

17. Links

Selio contains links to other sites, and Selio is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of those sites.

18. Privacy Policy and Cookies

The use of Selio implies acceptance of our Privacy Policy. We use cookies to improve user experience and provide personalised services.

19. Miscellaneous

We may update and modify the Site or Application at any time to reflect modifications to the Service, needs of Users/Sellers and our business priorities. These changes are not dependent on authorisation or notification to the User/Seller.

20. Duration and Termination

Selio reserves the right, at any time, to modify or interrupt the accessibility of all or part of the Service and/or the Website or Applications.

21. Jurisdiction

The applicable law to the Site, the Application and the Terms and Conditions of Use is the law of the relevant jurisdiction. The courts are exclusively competent to settle any disputes related to the use of the Site and the Application and these Terms and Conditions of Use.
